Heres’s an alternative card from the September Paper Pumpkin.

The minutes I saw these pre-cut but unmade pumpkin treat boxes, I was reminded of bandaids; after all, I am a nurse! So I knew I was going to create a get well card.
My daughter & I made most of our treat boxes; see my 10/4 post “WCMD- September Paper Pumpkin. But I saved two to make some alternative cards. BTW- her coworkers loved the treat boxes (& the candy inside😉)
Here’s what I did. First, I cut the treat boxes sections apart & cut off the scored end.

Next I took a rounded end section & traced it at the cut off scored edge. Then I trimmed with my scissors.
Next, I embossed Crumb Cake cardstock using the Tasteful Textures embossing folder; and cut two 1” x 1” squares. I adhered to two of my bandaids.
My card base is Crumb Cake with a layer of Pale Papaya popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I topped the Pale Papaya with a piece of Tasteful Textures embossed Crumb Cake to keep consistent with the “bandaid pads”. The top & bottom bandaids in Soft Succulent and Poppy Parade are adhered directly using mono adhesive.

My sentiment from “Inspired Thoughts” stamp set; it’s stamped in Early Espresso on Pale Papaya. Both the bandaid & sentiment are up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. Linen thread triple wrapped peeks out on each side of the Pale Papaya bandaid. I added three brilliant Champagne Rhinestones but the picture does chapter their shine.
Thanks for stopping & Happy Stamping, Marilyn (aka MJ)
