Hello, my fun friends! I’m sorry I missed you on Wednesday- life just took a minor left turn. As you may recall, my focus this week is the Sale-a-Bration Daffodil Afternoon DSP.

It doesn’t look like Daffodil DSP, does it?! For many of our Stampin’ Up designer series papers, one side is a beautiful artwork & the other side is a color-matching paper like this- diagonal stripes in Flirty Flamingo on Pale Papaya. So if you’re not crazy about daffodils, or you want to switch it up, the flip side offers another fabulous design.

I used the card sketch from The Paper Players #575. Honestly, I’ve used this sketch for years. It’s one of those “Go To” sketches & when you check out The Paper Players site, you’ll see many beautiful interpretations.

My base is Pale Papaya. Using the flowers in the “Butterflies & Flowers” Decorative Masks & Blending Brushes to first lay down Flirty Flamingo ink with the floral outline mask & then Polished Pink ink with the detailed flower mask onto Flirty Flamingo cardstock.

My sentiment is from another Sale-a-bration “freebie”; this one with $100 purchase. It’s called “Special Moments”. This is definitely a “must have” sentiment stamp set; there’s a total of 21 sentiments. I stamped in Polished Pink on Pale Papaya; & used our “Double Oval” punch for the sentiment & Flirty Flamingo scalloped oval.
Have a great Friday! Marilyn (aka MJ)
