Happy Valentine’s Day! I have one last V-day card to share with you. It’s a fun fold so you can use the design anytime. I’m calling it a Triple Gate.
It was fun & easy to make. First step, score your 8.5 x 5.5 at 2-1/8 & at 6-3/8 (or 2 1/8″ from each side). This will give you a split center card base. Next, use three pieces of 1.75 x 4″ card stock & adhere 1-5/8″ x 3-7/8″ of DSP to each piece. . Next adhere two of these to one side of the split card base; one towards the top & the other towards the bottom. HINT: Be sure to only add adhesive to the area that touches the front flap. Next adhere the third piece between the other two but on the opposite split front panel. HINT: Be sure that the three panels do not overlap but weave together.
As you can see I rounded the corners using our Detailed Trio punch. I also decorated the inside of the card. I used the Word Wishes die cuts for the sentiment on the front.
Here is one more look at how the card folds together.
I hope you liked this fun fold in a non-traditional colored Valentine. Have a great week! Marilyn (AKA MJ)
