Wonderful World Anniversary

Hi Friends! I hope you has a great weekend & are ready for another outstanding week! Today I have an anniversary card to share with you. Last week I depleted my stash of my last two anniversary cards so I definitely needed to add a few.

Nothings prettier than beautiful flowers for anniversary wishes. So I pulled out the Wonderful World Designer Series Paper (DSP). It’s part of a stamp set & DSP duo in the Sale-a-Bration catalog; free with a $100 product purchase (before shipping & taxes).

The card base is Polished Pink card stock; 5.5 X 8.5 inches, scored at 4.25. Next is a layer of Basic White 5-3/8 x 4 4-1/8. Then the Wonderful World DSP 4 x 5.25. The flower colors in this sheet of DSP are Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo & Rich Razzleberry & I think the Polished Pink blends nicely. What do you think?

I added a 3/4″ piece of Basic White on the diagonal. TIP: Mark lightly with a pencil at one inch down from the top right corner & one inch up from the bottom left corner. My sentiment is from the Celebrating You stamp set in the Annual Catalog. It was stamped in Polished Pink & punched with the double oval punch. I sponged the edges with Polished Pink ink. A pretty bow in Polished Pink Open Weave ribbon.

The inside of the card uses the sentiment from Nature’s Prints stamp set; new in the annual catalog this year. Then a 1/4″ strip of the DSP was added at the bottom of the white inner panel.

Sale-a-Bration ends at the end of August so get your orders to me soon! That’s it for me today. Have an awesome day! Marilyn (aka MJ)
