When this Wildlife Wonder stamp set was introduced in January in the Mini Catalog, I order it right away. I’ve probably mentioned that we have many awesome guy friends & I enjoy making “guy” cards so this was a no-brainer for me.
I noticed that the Rings of Love DSP from Sale-a-bration had this terrific tree branch paper which I thought would coordinate perfectly with the stamp set. What do you think?
It was a fairly easy card to put together. I got this sketch & stamp set idea from Terri Tank at My Stamp Vault. I changed up her design but it was her card that gave me inspiration for this CASE. I cut four 1-1/8 squares in crumb cake & stamped each of the animals from the set knowing that there would be some (or a lot) of the image that would be cut off. The fourth square was for the sentiment.
I mounted the small squares on a larger square; 3.5″ Mossy Meadow and 3.75 Early Espresso. The Branch DSP from Rings of Love DSP was adhered to the Mossy Meadow card base. The large square panel was adhered on top of the DSP. Seriously friends- this is an incredible pack of DSP for the fall & holiday creating & it’s yours free with a $50 product purchase. (before tax & S/H). The sale ends on 8/31 or when supplies run out. I don’t want you to miss out!
I added a couple of strips of cardstock toward the bottom of the card- Soft Suede, Early Espresso with a skinny angled piece in Mossy Meadow. Rustic Metallic adhesive backed dots were added along the Mossy Meadow strip. I decorated the inside too.
Thanks for stopping over. I think I’ve got my rythym back after our move so I will be here every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. An occasional extra post when there’s a special offer. I hope you’ll come back after the weekend. Happy Stamping, Marilyn (aka MJ)
