Halloween – InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Hi friends! Welcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! Boo! Today we are sharing scary and sweet projects perfect for Halloween. We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Isn’t this little silhouette image the cutest?! I just love it. I stamped the fairy princess image in Momento Black on Basic White card stock & added a layer of Pear Pizzazz across the bottom. Then I layered the “spooky” frame on top. I intentionally placed the frame with the branches on the bottom so it would appear like a thorny bush that the princess was walking by.

When I’m not sure of my placement, I use non- Stampin’ Up removable tape. Then when I have is right, I use our all purpose liquid glue to make it secure.

Next I cut the Basic White & Pear Pizzazz using my little guillotine trimmer (a SU! promotional item from years ago). I wish we had these in the catalog but you can find a non-SU!guillotine trimmer at your local craft store.

I colored the Pear Pizzazz card-stock with my Pear Pizzazz marker to make it a little darker. I created a rectangular panel using In-Color 6×6 DSP in Orchid Oasis on Orchid Oasis card stock. Also in Orchid Oasis, I stamped a sentiment from the September “Spooky Treats” Paper Pumpkin. This panel was adhered to the Tahitian Tide card base & then the silhouette scene was popped up with dimensionals.

Extra black stars from the Paper Pumpkin kit were added. Black Bakers Twine was wrapped & tied in a knot plus extra pieces were added to mimic a spider. Its hard to see but I added a bit of Wink of Stella to her wings, crown & wand.

This is definitely a different layout for me. What do you think?

A special Thank You to my fellow demonstrator & friend, Sally Nusbaum from The Gathering Place for letting me use her stamps & dies.

Thank you for hopping along with us. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Ann Murray at Murray Stamps Ink. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
