Happy Weekend, friends! Here’s another card using the Celebrate Everything DSP. I’m using the same colors & paper that I used for the past three days (see end of post).

I really had a lot of creative fun with these four cards that I post from Wednesday- today. Here is the process I used. I started with two pieces of the Celebrate Everything DSP 3.75 x 5 & cut it on the diagonal. Then I pulled out matching & coordinating cardstock & accessories & laid everything on my desk/work surface. I knew I wanted to create card #2 from Thursday. And the rest of the cards were “free flow” creations.
For this card, I used a “leftover” piece of the diagonal DSP. I tried it on a plain Basic White panel but felt it needed a little more so I embossed the piece of 5-3/8 x 3.75 inch using the Fern 3D EF. I liked that much better so I adhered the DSP to the embossed panel. That panel of DSP & embossed Fern 3D White was mounted on Granny Apple Green.
Next I cut a Basic White scalloped rectangle using the Scalloped Contours dies. I die cut the tree in Granny Apple Green & Garden Green. After setting the tree on the White scalloped rectangle (non-permanently), I decided it needed something else. So I die cut another scalloped rectangle in Basic Black & determined where to cut it to serve as a background for the Tree. Much better.

I stamped “Tis the Season” in Granny Apple Green towards the bottom of the Basic White scalloped rectangle & mounted my tree using dimensionals & also on the scalloped rectangle. The black and white Gingham ribbon around the panel which was ten mounted on the cardbase of Thick Basic White.
I usually just try a lot of ideas in a non-permanent way before deciding on my final design. I’d love to hear how you create. Yes, sometimes I case others, but I just love to create a unique card.
Have a great Saturday! Happy Stamping, Marilyn (aka MJ)
