Hi friends- Happy 5th day of Christmas. In faith circles, in the song lyrics each day represents something from the Bible. The five golden rings represent the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament. Who knew? Certainly not me but I love this!
My card today is quite simple especially compared to yesterday’s card. The Evening Evergreen checked paper is a sheet from the Fitting Florets DSP. A strip of gold Metallic Specialty Paper separates the DSP & Basic White base.
The Fitting Florets oval dies were used to cut Basic White and Soft Sea Foam. Using the soon-to-retire Splendid Thoughts stamp set, a light & dark green stem was stamped on the white oval. Finally the “Sending Hugs” sentiment was stamped towards the bottom of the oval.
That sentiment is perfect for many situations- illness, sympathy or just “rough time”. The mix of fonts is right on-trend.
