Join- No Obligation

Sale-A-Bration is an excellent time for anyone to join Stampin’ Up! In addition to the already excellent value of the Starter Kit, if you sign up as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration, you can choose from three incredible options:

  • Option 1: The exclusive Boho Blue Mini Machine ($63) + your choice of $175* of Stampin’ Up! products for only $129
  • Option 2: The original white Mini Machine ($63) + your choice of $175* of Stampin’ Up! products for only $129
  • Option 3: Your choice of $175* of Stampin’ Up! products for only $99

*That’s $50 more than the standard Starter Kit offer!

Option 1
Option 2
Option 3

Those who know me know that love being a demonstrator. Here’s my top 10 reasons.

1. Free product. Hello!!- $76 of free stuff. That’s over 35% off whatever you order. You can customize your starter kit to get just what you want or need. #bestbundleever

2. Get 20% off all subsequent orders! In my neck of the woods, that covers shipping & taxes & a little bit more.

3. See it first! Get a preview of new products before others. Most new products are offered to demonstrators before being released to customers. (Yes! Hello New In-Colors & select new catalog products)

4. Zero Obligation! There is no obligation to stay active and no penalty to drop. If you don’t meet the quarterly minimum of $300 in purchases or sales, you simply just become inactive.

6 You do you. Hobby Demonstrators welcomed & appreciated!. You’ll never get hassled to sell, or hold an event. Being a hobby demonstrator is FUN! Most demonstrators are HOBBY demonstrators; they are in it for the discount. You can be too!

7. You do you. I already said that but if you want to build a business, support will provided. Whatever your goals, I’ll be there to help you reach them.

8. SU! Family. It’s all about doing what you love & SU makes it easy to stay up to date with weekly emails & a free, easy to use website with news & specials highlights. Plus Facebook groups help you learn about new products & see demonstrations. I’ll show you how to navigate the internet to get to it all.

9. Regional Community. You’ll be joining a supportive, encouraging and positive group of Demonstrators in my group. Get ideas, opinions & questions answered by a team (not just me) & without DRAMA.

5. No Selling Required – You don’t need to teach classes, hold workshops, have a blog, or anything like that. You get to do you in your own creative world. 95% of demonstrators are hobbyists – most of us signed up for the discount! For the first 5 years I was a demonstrator, I just ordered what I wanted and enjoyed creating with it.

10. Friendships – Really this is my #1 reason. My fellow demonstrators and customers are not only my friends but I consider them my family. They inspire me to be my best- creatively, socially & spiritually. They are such a light in my life!

Framed Florets Thank You

Blessing on this 2nd day of Christmas. I hope you had a wonderful celebration with family &/or friends. We had a quiet day with our youngest daughter & her husband. I’m posting a little later today due to the holiday. A very Happy Hanukkah to my Jewish friends.

I hope you have received a January-April ’23 Mini Catalog and the January-February Sale-a-Bration catalog. If not, please contact me & I’ll get a catalog to you. I’ll deliver to you if are local to the STL area (aka St. Louis, “The Lou”, John Hamm’s & Sterling Brown’s hometown, & home to the world renowned Kate Chopin (1851-1904 Novelist- “The Awaking”). If you’re not local to me, I’d be happy to mail the catalogs to you.

Today I’m sharing a new bundle found in the January-April ‘23 Mini Catalog. You might remember that you can order this bundle now & you can also order (while supplies last) the fabulous Holiday “big” sentiments stamp set called “Framed & Festive” & the DSP. The DSP & holiday sentiment will NOT be available after January 4th, so don’t wait.

  • Framed & Festive Cling Stamp Set (item 160888)
  • Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper (item 161814)

The bundle in the mini catalog will be available through the mini catalog which ends on May 1.

Framed Florets bundle; the Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls in the upper left corner sold out & are no longer available 😦
  • Framed Florets Bundle (item 162407)
  • Framed Florets Photopolymer Stamp Set (item 161815)*
  • Framed Florets Dies (item 160623)

My card features the very pretty coordinating DSP; if you’re a lover of the color blue or green you’re sure to love this paper! The colors are: Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry, Evening Evergreen, Night of Navy, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent.

The card starts with a base of Evening Evergreen & an embossed Evening Evergreen piece (4 x 5.25) using the Annual Catalog’s Pretty Flowers embossing folder. The DSP was added to the left side. My “Thank you” sentiment was stamped in Evening Evergreen on Basic White & die cut using this set’s oval. I left room at the top so the floral sprig would fit without crowding the sentiment. A close-up below.

The fancy frame is also from the bundle & it was cut in Polished Pink. The ribbon is also Polished Pink. The floral sprig from the set was stamped with black Momento ink, for cut & colored with Stamping Blends, our alcohol markers.

Here are some of the products I used:

  • Framed Florets Bundle (#162407)
  • Framed Florets Photopolymer Stamp Set (#161815)
  • Framed Florets Dies (#160623)
  • Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder (#155428)
  • 3/8” Open Weave Ribbon in Polished Pink (#155714)

I hope you have the day off from work today so you can enjoy more family & friends time. Marilyn (aka MJ)

January-April ‘22 Mini Catalog

Card Parade with Last Chance for Holiday Supplies

If you really loved something from the mini catalog now is the time to order. Things are flying off the shelves so to speak. Quite a few things are gone forever. Almost all the ribbon & embellishments are out. Once the current inventory is depleted, it’s gone forever. 😦

When I checked last night these favorites were still left. Prices are examples & are not guaranteed.

This was my go to last year & it carried over.

Something Fancy- Thank you

Christmas is coming fast… I’ve spent the last week finishing up Christmas cards & addressing envelopes. So this afternoon I took a 30 minute break to make a non-holiday card & play with some of the new things from the January- April Mini catalog (J-A ’23 MC) & some Sale-a-bration (SAB) products.

I just love when Stampin’ UP offers SAB rewards. Today I am using the “Favored Flowers” DSP. The tag was made using the mini-catalog’s Something Fancy bundle; stamps and dies. So many great sentiments with shapes/labels that can be tags if you use one of several dies for creating a tag topper.

I cut a 4 x 5.35 piece of the DSP & then cut 3/4″ off each side & flipped to the reverse side pattern & mounted on Calypso Coral cardstock. Then 1/4″ strips were added to the junction where the DSP met.

The tag was made with the Something Fancy Bundle. I can’t wait to share a picture with you! I used Mossy Meadow & Calypso Coral. I pulled out the Evening Evergreen Windowpane Check ribbon. I took Basic White Crinkled ribbon & colored it with my evening Stampin’ Blend. Love this trick to create matching ribbon for any project.

Well, I’d better get back to Christmas cards… but first another close-up.

Have a great week! Marilyn (aka MJ)

Fitting Florets Holiday Stamp Set

Happy Sunday, dear friends! What a glorious day! Can you believe it is just one week until Christmas. This time of year I have to remind myself to keep calm & not stress about all I think I need to do & instead enjoy the season & my people. The Bible verse below has good to advice for me.

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Today, in addition to the Sunday reflection, I want to share with you a card I made using a bundle that you will see in the upcoming Jan-April ’23 mini catalog- Framed Florets. These stamps and dies are so pretty.

And lucky us, Stampin’ Up released this bundle early PLUS a coordinating holiday set & DSP. But there’s a catch, the “Framed & Festive” holiday stamp set & the Fitting Florets DSP are only available until January 4th. You’ll need to grab them as soon if you want them because once the supply is depleted, they’re gone for good.

Framed Florets Bundle (#162407)
Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper (#161814)
Framed & Festive Cling Stamp Set (#160888)

Below is a close-up of the card. The DSP was mounted on a Basic White card base. Next I added the frame & oval which were left over from another project. I stamped the sentiment slightly off center so there would be room for the flowers.

The big flowers were stamped on Basic White & Blushing Bride & die cut. The little flowers were die cut in white & then Cherry Cobbler ink was added using a sponge dauber. All the flowers have adhesive backed swirls.

I hope you have a really wonderful Sunday! Marilyn (aka MJ)
